Abstract

An interdisciplinary team approach: orthodontics and periodontics for optimizing outcomes in complex cases

The interdisciplinary collaboration between orthodontics and periodontics has opened up new possibilities for the treatment of complex cases, allowing us to address clinical situations that were previously considered unviable or had limited prognoses. This conference aims to demonstrate how the integration of both disciplines not only optimizes clinical time but also significantly improves long-term functional, aesthetic, and biological outcomes.
